Acceptable Use and Reviews Policy

1. Everyone must not

  • break the law, or use Drivora to defraud, harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone.
  • post or send anything illegal, including threats, hate, sexual content involving anyone under 18, intimate images without consent, or fraud.
  • contact a learner under 18 for anything other than their driving lessons, or use Drivora to build an inappropriate relationship with a learner.
  • access other people's accounts or data, scrape the service, or try to break its security.
  • send marketing or spam through Drivora.
  • pretend to be someone else, or give false qualification details.

2. Reviews

Who can review: a learner, or a parent who paid, who has had at least one completed lesson with that instructor. One review per learner per instructor. You can edit it.

What's allowed: your honest opinion of your own experience, good or bad.

Not allowed:

  • fake reviews.
  • reviews written or commissioned by the instructor or anyone connected to them.
  • reviews given in exchange for money, discounts or free lessons, unless the incentive is clearly disclosed and given whether the review is positive or negative.
  • reviews that are illegal, abusive, discriminatory, or that share someone's personal information.

How we publish:

  • We publish all genuine reviews, positive and negative, in date order (featured reviews first).
  • The average rating counts every published review.
  • Instructors can't approve, hide, delay or delete reviews. They can reply publicly and report a review.
  • We remove a review only if it breaks this policy, and we keep a record of why.
  • We check for patterns that suggest fake reviews. If we find them, we may remove reviews, remove a badge, or suspend the account.

3. Reporting a problem

Use Report on any review, note or profile, or email the contact address published on this page before launch with "Report" in the subject. Tell us what's wrong and where.

  • We'll look at reports of illegal content, or content that may harm a child, as soon as possible and within 2 working days, and remove it if needed.
  • We'll tell you the outcome. If you disagree, reply and a different person will review it.
  • If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.

4. What happens if rules are broken

We may remove content, restrict features, hide a booking page, or suspend or close an account. We'll explain why, unless the law or safety stops us. Instructors also have the rights in section 10 of the Instructor and School Terms.

5. Online safety contact

Contact: the contact address published on this page before launch. We review our online safety risk assessments at least once a year and before any major change, such as adding chat.
